Sindh Amateur Championship from Jan 2

KARACHI, Dec 2: The 4th Sindh Amateur Golf Championship will be held from Jan 2-4 at Karachi Golf Club it was announced here Monday.

The championship was earlier postponed due clash of dates of other golf tournaments. It was scheduled in October 2002 but now according to the new schedule it would be held in the first week of January just three days after Pakistan Open.

Pakistan Open Golf will also be held in Karachi at Karachi Golf Club from Dec 26-29. Sindh Amateur Golf Championship will be plauyed over 54 holes.

Top golfers would come across the country to participate in the Pakistan Open Golf could take advantage of participating in the 4th Sindh Amateur Golf.

Zeeshan Ali is the defending champion of Sindh Amateur Championship while in other categories Haroon Kahlen (senior), Omair (junior), Mrs Hae Jin Lee (ladies) and Kamal Shoaib are the vetrans champion.—PPI
