KARACHI, Feb 22: Six ships carrying containers, mogas and to load ethanol are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where three ships, Bao Flourish with general cargo, Hermes with containers and Vishva Bandan, bulk cargo loader, were berthed on Wednesday after the departure of five.

The departing ships were led by Hyundai Forward, Star Sea Rainbow, Constancy, UACC Ibn al-Athar and Bao Flourish, while Hermes is due to sail out on Thursday.

Cargo handling activity was slow totalling 45,402 tons comprising 11,062 tons of export cargo and 34,340 tons of import tonnage.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Glovis Prestige with 100 units, Fuzhou, UASC Shuwaikh and Yaran, with containers, Maetiga, mogas and Oriental Rose to load ethanol.
