KOHAT, Feb 17: The political agent of the Frontier Region of Kohat has directed the heads of all line departments to speed up pace of work on the development projects, ensuring use of quality material. He asked the officials to present him a report in this regard in the next meeting.

Shahidullah Khan, who is also the District Coordination Officer of Kohat, chaired a meeting in this regard in his office here on Friday. It was attended by the assistant political agent Fakaharud Din and heads of education, health, communication and works departments.

Mr Shahidullah asked the officers to ensure use of quality material in the ongoing developmental schemes in the health, education and drinking water projects.

H told the participants that the provincial government had approved a government girls college for Darra Adam Khel. He expressed satisfaction over the law and order situation in the semi-autonomous area of Kohat and said that all the destroyed buildings would be repaired immediately.
