Gunmen kill 7 labourers

QUETTA, Feb 14: Seven labourers were killed in an attack on a camp of a construction company in Buleda area of Kech district on Tuesday.

The banned Baloch Liberation Front (BLF) claimed responsibility for the attack.

According to official sources, the camp for the company’s labourers at Masken was attacked by gunmen on motorcycles.

The sources said nine people were in the camp at the time and seven of them died on the spot. Their bodies were taken to the Turbat district hospital.

Security personnel launched an operation in the area to trace the attackers. The BLF spokesman who identified himself as Duda Baloch claimed that eight people had been killed.
