KARACHI, Feb 8: Young Tughlaq (Lyari) lifted the All Karachi Sindh Sports Board Inter-club Football Tournament trophy after beating Khyber Muslim 6-4 on penalty kicks at the Baldia Town Football Ground here the other day. The score line during regulation time remained 1-1 after which decision had to be made through penalty kicks. The goal for Young Tughlaq was scored by Zohaib Ahmed and Waheed Ahmed equalized for Khyber Muslim.

Later, Ayaz Saeed, Jamil, Saddam and Zohaib converted the penalties for Young Tughlaq and Iqbal, Sajjad and Waheed did the same for Khyber Muslim.

Young Tughlaq’s captain Abdul Zaheer received Rs 50,000 while Khyber Muslim had to be content with the runners-up cheque of Rs 30,000. Abdul Zaheer also got the Rs 10,000 cheque for Man of the Tournament. Top scorer Liaquat Khan of Khyber Muslim got Rs 8,000 and best goalkeeper Junaid Afzal of Young Tughlaq got Rs 4,000.
