IT is heartening to note that the nation is determined to cherish democracy and is recognising the services rendered by our leaders. The renaming of Rawalpindi Airport as Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Airport, Peshawar Airport as Baacha Khan Airport and Sukkur Airport as Nusrat Bhutto Airport are good omens for democracy.

The nation should also remember the sacrifices rendered by Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan and should acknowledge his services for the country.

Thus Multan Airport should be renamed Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan Airport. It would be homage paid to a great democratic leader.
