AASCC trounces Youngsters Gymkhana

KARACHI, Nov 30: Asghar Ali Shah CC (AASCC) booked a place in the semifinal of A.O. Super Cup Ramzan tournament by crushing Youngsters Gymkhana by 91 runs played aturday.

AASCC raced to 186 for seven wickets in their 25 overs. Opener Kamran Hussain stroked a fine 52 with three boundaries and one over it. Turab Hussain blasted three fours and six in his 33 and Kafil Ahmed’s 32 contained three massive sixes.

Khalid Latif took two wickets for 42 runs with his medium pace bowling.

Youngsters Gymkhana in their turn managed only 95 for eight in their 20 overs. Iqbal Agha made 25 with the aid of one six and a four.

Left arm spinners Aamir Rizwan and Khalid Butt and medium pacer Ibrahim Akhtar took two wickets each.
