RAWALPINDI, Nov 29: A woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances in her house in sector I-8/4 on Friday.

According to the police, Sonila Khan, 27, alias Saira Khan, had been living alone for the last three years in a rented house. A few months ago, she developed differences with a man she had been seeing for some time, the police said.

Quoting Sonila’s friend, the police said she was drunk when she went to bed last night.

“The cause of her death is yet to be established. Neither there was any torture mark on her body nor had she been shot or stabbed. However, the real cause of her death will be known after the autopsy report,” the police said.

The body of Sonila Khan has been shifted to Pims hospital for postmortem.
