KARACHI, Jan 21: Khurram Agha, a former top cueist of the country, and ex-Sindh champion, M. Ishtiaq, stormed into the final of the 20th Sindh Snooker Cup at Aly’s parlour on Saturday.

Khurram, who shot into 4-0 lead, dropped the following two frames before returning 5-2 victorious against former Sindh champion Farrukh Usman the scores being 53-45, 62-16, 94-31, 90-0, 50-59, 54-62, 62-34.

Similarly, Ishtiaq chalked up identical 5-2 victory over another former Sindh champion, Javed Ansari. Ishtiaq won the best of nine battle 66-58, 61-26, 24-67, 91-23, 39-77, 67-1, 74-16.

The best of 11 frames final between Khurram and Ishtiaq will be played on Monday at 12noon.
