LAHORE, Jan 9: Hosts Sialkot crushed Gojra 7-1 to win the second edition of the PHF Inter-Academy Hockey Tournament final at Sialkot Stadium, on Sunday.

Ali Raza (21st, 30th minutes), Aamir Sohail (36th, 51st), Nohaiz Zahid (16th), Mohammad Ali (23rd) and Hammad Zafar (50th) scored for the winners. Whereas Mubashir (32nd) scored the lone goal for Gojra.

Earlier, Bahawalpur edged out Lahore 2-1 to grab the third spot. Moadid Ali (21st), Muneeb-ur-Rehman (40th) were the scorers for Bahawalpur while Mohammad Waqas (14th) reduced the margin for the losing side.

Nohaiz Zahid of Sialkot was declared best player of the tournament and was given cash prize of Rs20,000.
