KARACHI, Nov 25: The People’s Party Parliamentarians on Monday named Nisar Ahmed Khuhro as its parliamentary leader in the Sindh Assembly, scheduled to meet on Nov 28.

The decision was taken at a meeting held at Bilawal House. The PPP chairperson, Benazir Bhutto, gave her consent to his name after consulting the Parliamentarians’ chief, Makhdoom Amin Fahim.

Except for one ailing member from Larkana, all the PPP MPAs were present at the meeting.

In a related development, the chief of the Pakistan Muslim League (Functional), Pir Pagara, has pledged to support the Muttahida Qaumi Movement in its efforts to form a coalition government in the province.
