LAHORE, Jan 5: Three matches were played in the PHF Inter-Academy Hockey Tournament at the Sialkot Stadium in Sialkot on Thursday.

Jamil Baber scored three goals in 39th, 58th and 59th minutes as Bannu outclassed Quetta 6-0.

Atif added two in the first and 27th minutes while Shiraz hit one in the 15th min.

Two-goal Qasim Ahmed helped Sialkot crush Faisalabad 5-1 after taking 3-1 lead in the first half.

Qasim romped home in the 12th and 36th minutes while Ali Raza (24th), Nohaiz Zahid (26th) and M Ali (51st) were the other scorers.

For Faisalabad, the only goal came from M. Shan in the 44th min.

A solitary goal of the match by Mubashar in the fourth minute helped Gojra edge out Abbottabad 1-0.
