ISLAMABAD: Former Sindh minister Zulfikar Mirza and Speaker National Assembly Fehmida Mirza called on President Asif Ali Zardari in a Dubai's hospital on Monday and inquired after his health, a private TV channel reported.

The president, whose health condition is improving according to his doctors and spokesman, also met some other PPP leaders and workers.

The sources said that the speaker would return to the country and attend the session of the National Assembly scheduled to commence on Dec 15.

She will also chair a meeting of the business advisory committee to be held shortly before the start of the NA session.
