HYDERABAD, Nov 21: The executive district officer, health, Dr Ashraf Bhurgari, has called for legislation against quacks and spurious drugs.
He was responding to queries of members of the district council here the other day.
He said the health department had taken action against quacks and manufacturers of spurious drugs and the persons concerned were facing trials in different courts. He informed the members that 24 out of the 104 medical facilities in the district were working without any sanction.
