PARIS: Now that they’re of drinking age, band of brothers Hanson is launching their own beer. The name? MmmHops.
Named after the 1990s song "MmmBop" that made them famous, brothers Isaac, Taylor and Zac said they plan to develop an India Pale Ale that will be released in early 2012.
They wouldn’t be the first boy band to brew a hopped up idea. Last month, British group Elbow launched a limited edition premium session bitter they called Build a Rocket Boys! last month, while Def Leppard’s Joe Elliott has a lager named Down ‘N’ Outz points out Bang Showbiz.
Rock groups Train and and AC/DC also have their own wine labels.
