ORAKZAI: Sixteen militants and one soldier were killed on Sunday in various clashes between militants and security forces which took place in different areas of the Orakzai Agency, DawnNews reported.

According to the details, security forces and militants exchanged heavy fire in the Dabori area of Orakzai Agency. One soldier was killed in the clash while 10 militants were also killed and three wounded.

Security forces also fired on militants in the Gandi Taal area of the agency, killing six militants and destroying three of their hideouts.
