Labourer shot dead

ATTOCK, Nov 26:   A poor labourer was gunned down by two persons in Mohammad Nagar area over a minor dispute.

Police said on Saturday that Mohammad Akbar, resident of Mirza village reported to the city police station that he and his nephew Ghulam Khan, a labourer, were invited by Faisal Shah at his home on Friday evening. As they reached there, Faisal Shah with the help of his friend, Waheed Shehzad, detained them in the drawing room of his house at gunpoint.

He said they managed to escape from the house but Faisal Shah opened fire at them with a pistol. Resultantly, Ghulam Khan was hit by a bullet and died on the spot.

On information, the police rushed to the scene and shifted the body to DHQ hospital and registered a case against both the accused. —Correspondent
