RAWALPINDI, Nov 17: About 100 Pakistani nationals detained in different jails of the United States following the September 11 terrorist attacks are scheduled to arrive here on November 21 by a special flight after being deported, an official source said on Sunday.

They were arrested by the US authorities for interrogation in different jails of the United States and finally deported, the source said.

When a senior official of the immigration authorities was contacted, he confirmed that a special flight carrying the Pakistani national was scheduled to arrive here on November 21. But he gave no further details about the people being deported.

The immigration official said:”Neither I have any knowledge about how many people are being deported nor the exact time of the flight.”

Earlier, one hundred and sixty-one Pakistanis including a woman were deported by the US and they had arrived here by a special flight on June 26, 2002.
