Camp helps 200 quake-hit families

SAKARDU, Nov 16: The two hundred families, affected by the recent earthquake in the Northern Areas, have been accommodated by the relief camp at Gonar Farm near Chilas.

The earthquake had hit Diamar district and parts of Astore, killing eleven people and injuring many.

The DC of Diamer said that 4,500 people and 300 houses were affected by the earthquake. A large number of the livestock also perished in the calamity.—PPI
