QUETTA: The bullet-riddled body of a journalist was found in the Hub town of Lasbela district on Saturday, sources said.

According to the sources, local people informed the police about the presence of the body which was shifted to hospital where the deceased was identified as Javed Naseer Rind.

Mr Rind formerly worked for Daily Tawar as a sub-editor and had been missing for two months. Police said there were bullet marks on the deceased’s head and chest.

Balochistan Union of Journalists president Eassa Tareen condemned the murder and called for the arrest of killers.
