SHIKARPUR, Nov 3: Three women belonging to a Pathan family were killed in firing by armed men in Khanchandabad Mohalla, on Thursday. According to reports, six armed men belonging to Jamali tribe entered the house of Aurangzeb Pathan and opened fire on the women sitting in the house.

Ms Ameena was killed on the spot while Afroze Begum and Ms Najma received serious bullet injuries.

They were referred to the Civil Hospital of Larkana after providing first aid at a local hospital but both of them succumbed to their injuries in the hospital.

Motive behind the incident is said to be an ongoing matrimonial dispute between the two parties. No FIR was registered till filing of this report. The accused fled after firing.
