LAHORE: Pakistan hockey suffered yet another setback when the country descended one step further — to ninth spot — in the latest international rankings, released by the International Hockey Federation (FIH) till Nov 1, 2011.

According to the latest rankings, Pakistan having 1460 points have slid to ninth position from eighth.

Australia (2620 points) maintain the top position, followed by Germany (2740) and the Netherlands (2213) at the second and third place respectively.

India, Pakistan’s arch-rivals, lie at the 10th spot.
