Three police officials suspended

KHAIRPUR, Nov 16: The superintendent of police, Khairpur, Abdul Khaliq Shaikh, has suspended three police officials of various police stations over public complaints.

Ghulam Abbas Shar, the in charge, Machhon police post, was suspended on allegations that he had arrested and locked up a bridegroom three days back without an FIR.

ASI Sikandar Bhayo of the Babarloi police station was suspended for extorting money on a monthly basis from the pickup drivers who used to transport bananas to Sukkur.

The SHO, Ahmedpur police station, Jumma Khan Panhwar, was suspended on the allegation of taking bribe in a murder case.
