SUKKUR, Oct 31: A court official conducted a raid on Mirpur Mathelo police station on Monday and recovered a man from illegal confinement.

Three days ago, Khanpur Mahar police arrested Rahzan Sial of Khanpur Mahar town and shifted him to Mirpur Mathelo police station.

Sher Mohammad Sial, brother of Rahzan Sial, submitted an application to the sessions judge of Ghotki, stating that his brother was in illegal police confinement of Mirpur Mathelo police station because no case had been registered against him.

Judge Syed Irshad Ali Shah appointed Pervez Ali Channa as raid commissioner who conducted the raid and recovered Rahzan Sial from a residential quarter.

No entry of his arrest was found in the record which was seized by the raid commissioner. He directed SHO of Mirpur Mathelo Darya Khan Jatoi to appear before the judge on Tuesday.
