HYDERABAD, Nov 15: The RPO, Hyderabad, Abdul Rauf Yousufzai, has appointed a team of police officers, headed by the SP, City, Sharjeel Karim Kharal, to conduct an inquiry into the Friday’s bomb blast.

The regional police officer has appealed the people to contact the City SP on telephone No 9200286 if they have any information about the terrorists, responsible for the explosion.

The City police have registered a case against some unidentified people under section 3, 4 and 5 of the Explosives Act, section 6 and 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act and section 302, 324 and 427 of the Pakistan Penal Code.

Hyderabad district Nazim Dr Makhdoom Rafiquzzaman and DCO Mir Hussain Ali visited the site of the blast near the Circular Building and made inquiries from the people of the locality.

They also visited the local Civil Hospital, inquired about condition of those injured and directed the hospital authorities to look after them properly.

Meanwhile, the Muttahida Qaumi Movement has condemned the bomb blast incident.

The coordination committee of the Muttahida, in a statement issued in Karachi, criticized the Hyderabad police for failing to arrest the culprits of the earlier explosions in Hyderabad.

In another statement issued here, the Muttahida’s MNA-elect, Professor Khalid Wahab, and MPAs-elect, Arshad Shah, Aslam Pervez and Naeem Ishtiaq, demanded of the Sindh governor to ensure arrest of the perpetrators of the heinous crime.
