KARACHI, Nov 13: Pakistan Railway will operate three Eid special trains on Dec 3 and 4 to clear the rush of people going for upcountry destinations to celebrate Eid with their families.

“These trains will also have air-conditioned coaches for the first time,” said an official of the Railways here on Wednesday.

The first train will leave Karachi Cantonment Station on Dec 3 for Peshawar and the other two will operate for Lahore and Rawalpindi. These trains are expected to carry some 4,500 passengers.

Special arrangements have been made for the reservation of seats in all Peshawar, Rawalpindi and Lahore bound trains to facilitate the passengers.

For this purpose, special counters have been set up at Karachi City Reservation Offices.—APP
