ISLAMABAD, Nov 12: Alliance for Restoration of Democracy Chairman Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan, on Tuesday linked the decision of the ARD about formation of government with the summoning of National Assembly’s inaugural session.

Talking to newsmen at his residence, Nawabzada Nasrullah said the government should convene National Assembly immediately for formation of government. Replying to a question, he said the decision of the alliance regarding formation of government would be made public after announcement of convening of National Assembly.

He said there was no deadlock and demanded an early session of National Assembly.

He said there were no differences in the ARD.

The ARD chief discussed the political situation and stance of the alliance on various issues with Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) leader Zaffar Iqbal Jhagra, former Punjab chief minister Mian Manzoor Ahmad Watoo, Pakistan People’s Party, Lahore, Information Secretary Nadeem Rizvi, and former senator Manzoor Gichki, said ARD Chief Coordinator Malik Hakimeen.

In their meetings, he said, all the leaders asked the government to convene the inaugural session of National Assembly, so that a democratic process could be initiated.

They also expressed grief over the demise of Bilquees Zardari, mother of PPP leader Asif Ali Zardari.

They prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss with fortitude and equanimity.—APP
