KARACHI, Sept 29: Omer Shahid, Vinod Das and Adil Kohari reached semifinals of Subh-e-Nau Ranking Tennis Championship here at CDGK Sports Complex on Thursday.

Omer Shahid defeated Saeed Azhar in straight sets and entered the next stage. Vinod Das joined Omer after an easy victory against Hassan Siddiqu while Adil Kohari got a walkover against Saad Noor due to latter’s injury sustained before the match.

Maheen Dada was beaten by Adil Kohari in Boys U-17 quarterfinals which came as little surprise to spectators. Maheen looked totally off colour and was beaten in straight sets. Farhan Mustafa was lucky to reach semifinal after a tough match against Saad. Yahya Gabol also reserved his berth in the semifinal by outplaying Saeed Hasan.
