KARACHI, Sept 27: Adil Kohari, Sara Ahmed, Maheen Dada and Farhan Mustafa advanced to the next round of the 4th Subh-e-Nau Ranking Tennis Championship at the CDGK Sports Complex tennis courts on Tuesday.

The experienced Sara Ahmed won her contest in the ladies singles against Neha Khan with straight sets.

Neha showed some resistance in the first set but could not sustain her act against Sara who displayed superior skills.

In another match Hania outclassed Uroosa Ahmed in straight sets.

Maheen Dada emerged victorious against Neha Khan in the girls’ U-17 category.

In the boys’ U-17 fixtures, Adil Kohari and Farhan Mustafa advanced to the next round by beating their respective opponents.

In the U-11 category, Houd Azhar, Mohammad Dada and Bilal Imran all entered the next round.

Results: Ladies singles: Sara bt Neha 7-5, 6-3; Hania bt Uroosa 6-0, 6-2.

Girls’ U-17 singles: Maheen Dada bt Neha Khan 6-2, 6-0.

Boys’ U-17: Adil Kohari bt Syed Hasan Amir 6-1, 6-0; Farhan Mustafa bt Khizer Imran 6-1, 6-2.

Boys’ U-11: Houd Azhar bt Abde Ali Mohammad 6-1, 6-0; Mohammad Dada bt Amin Shafi 6-0, 3-6(10-3); Bilal Imran bt Rida Khan 6-3, 6-0.—Agencies
