QUETTA: A large number of people staged demonstrations and took out rallies in different areas of Quetta on Wednesday to protest the Mastung incident.

The protesters, including men and women, took out rallies in several areas of the provincial capital.

They demanded of the government to provide security and protection to the citizens.

Earlier on Tuesday, at least 26 pilgrims going to Iran were shot dead in cold blood in Balochistan’s Mastung district.

The incident caused panic amongst citizens.
