ISLAMABAD: Trade links between Pakistan and Vietnam received a boost on Monday as postal authorities of the two countries concluded an agreement to facilitate business community to exchange documents and samples of merchandise. Effective Oct 1, the ambit of ‘Express Mail Service’ will be expanded to and from Vietnam under a memorandum of understanding reached between the two countries.

Pakistan Post has announced that senders may send EMS items up to 30kgs by paying Rs1700 for first 500 grams and Rs150 for additional 500 grams.

EMS items booked for Hanoi would be dispatched from Karachi, according to the announcement.

Pakistan Post will also receive EMS items from Vietnam for delivery in Pakistan.
