BHALWAL, Nov 5: Around 200 posts of female teachers are lying vacant in Bhalwal sub-division while nine girls schools are without buildings, it was learnt.

Official sources told APP on Tuesday that the district government has appointed 172 female teachers and re-opened 30 schools, lying closed.

At present, 60 schools are without English teachers while five schools have no science teacher.

The posts lying vacant include 21 of SST, 16 of EST, 16 of SV, one of OT, 19 of ATs, 30 of PIT and 93 of PTC.

Besides, 41 posts of class IV staff are lying vacant in the girls schools.
