IT is a common observation that the behaviour of the police staff with the public is not what can be termed exemplary.
Either they lack proper training or experience to deal with the public, or they do not bother about it at all.
As public dealings are a part of the policeman’s job, it is necessary that higher authorities should arrange for proper training and should also convey clear instructions on how to communicate with the public.
The communication gap between the police and citizens has resulted in a deterioration of the law and order.
