Dist govt to set up flour stalls

SHIKARPUR, Nov 5: A meeting of the district price control committee was held here on Tuesday at the office of District Nazim Mohammad Arif Maher.

The committee decided to set up 14 stalls in the Shikarpur city to sell flour for Rs9 per kilogram during Ramazan.

The meeting revised prices of essential commodities and fixed their new prices for Ramazan.

The meeting also decided to depute magistrates to keep a check on the prices and award punishment to shopkeepers, found involved in overcharging.

SEMINAR: A seminar on the basic human rights standards for law enforcement officials was organized here on Tuesday by the district police in collaboration with the Amnesty International.
