Ali, I agree with you. This backdoor is not only in CSS but in all other departments. I personally know two of my class fellows who passed their F.Sc in lower second division obtaining 438 and 475 marks out of 1000 in those days but luckily got commission in Army. Both of them got Engineering degree while in Army. One from Military college of Engineering Risalpur and the other from Military College of Signals.Both of them retired as Colonels and the next day re-employed in army backed organizations. But I also remember a class fellow who got 770 marks in F.S.c and after getting engineering degree could not get employment for many years and now living in a bad locality and passing miserable life. Similarly, they opened their own army medical college. There was no need to spend huge money on it because many talented medical graduates were available from the most prestigious medical colleges of the country.

Most of the times our army other than full fledged wars (4 in number) is called in aid of civil government if martial law is not prevailing.May it be a earth quake , flood , elections , security matters or even census. If this all has to be done by army officers as in charge , i think they are indeed more capable than our civil officers.Secondly , one should also look into deputation laws present for civil officers alike. Sarcasm as "our respected army" is not understandable from our learned people. Let's not fall a prey in hands of politicians, media and international players who are actually anti state and anti Pakistan.Lets actually respect our ONLY organised and working institution.Pakistan Army is and has always been the last hope for us as a nation.Lets not forget their sacrifices. Pakistan & Pakistan Army Zindabad! If I was not selected in army even after trying so , why should I abuse or hate it.They are doing an excellent job, indeed.Atleast comparatively.
