ISLAMABAD, July 22: The concluding ceremony of the first district squash league for Punjab was arranged by the Pakistan Squash Federation at the Mushaf Squash Complex here on Friday.

As part of talent hunt, based upon their performance, top two players in each age category were invited from these districts to participate in the league.

After two-day league matches, following players were placed at number one and two in the league:

Under-11: 1 Abdul Qadir from Punjab Club Lahore; 2 Hassan Gul from BB Club Rawalpindi.

Under-13: 1 Waqas Younas from Punjab Club Lahore; 2 Mohammad Kibriya from BB Club Rawalpindi.

Under-15: 1 Hamza Imtiaz from Safari Club Rawalpindi; 2 Hamza Bhatti from Punjab Club Lahore.

Under-17: 1 Moeen Rauf from Punjab Club Lahore; 2 Salman Hashmi from BB Club, Rawalpindi.

Under-19: 1 Bilal Khan from BB Club Rawalpindi; 2 Babar Ghafoor from Shalimar Club Rawalpindi.

Seniors (19-35 years): 1 Mohammad Waseem from Punjab Club Lahore; 2 Ilyas Khan from Roshan Khan Club Islamabad.

Seniors (35-45 years): 1 Irfan Asghar from Falcon Club Islamabad; 2 Shaqeeq Balouch from Islamabad Club-A.

Veterans (45 years plus): 1 Qayum Gul from Shalimar Club Rawalpindi; 2 Zubair Malik from Falcon Club Islamabad.

Girls: 1 Amna Latif from BB Club Rawalpindi; 2 Noor Fatima from BB Club Rawalpindi.
