HYDERABAD, Oct 31: The Mehran University of Engineering and Technology has announced on Thursday that the interviews for admissions in first year will be conducted at the university as per the following schedule.

On Nov 3 from 9am to 2pm for candidates from Hyderabad, Dadu, Thatta and Badin districts.

On Nov 4 from 9am to 2 pm for those of Mirpurkhas, Tharparkar, Sanghar, Nawabshah, Naushahro Feroze and Sukkur districts.

On Nov 5 from 9am to 2:30pm for those of Ghotki, Khairpur, Larkana, Shikarpur, Jacobabad districts, defunct Karachi division, MUET employees, diploma holders and under self- financing scheme.

The registrar of the MUET also announced that the merit list of the candidates, called for interview, would be displayed on the notice board of the university on Nov 1.

The candidates are advised to appear before the admission committee in the office of the registrar for interviews, with their original documents, on the dates and times mentioned above.

According to the list obtained by Dawn, 745 candidates, who had cleared the pre-admission test held on Sept 27, have been called for the interviews.

LUMHS: The controller of examinations, Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences, on Thursday announced the result of second professional MBBS bi-annual examination of 2002 of the LUMHS, Chandka Medical College and Peoples Medical College.

The controller also announced the theory result of postgraduate Diploma in Cardiology, held in Oct 2002.

SU: The University of Sindh on Thursday announced the results of college side annual examination 2001 of MA (previous and final), English, Economics, Political Science and Muslim History.
