GHALANAI, July 12: The political administration of Mohmand Agency released at least 83 tribesmen after a jirga with the tribal elders held here on Tuesday.
Sources said that the political administration had arrested the tribesmen of the Masud tribe of Safi Tehsil under the collective responsibility law of the Frontier Crimes Regulation (FCR).
The Safi Masud tribal elders held a jirga with Political Agent Amjad Ali Khan and assured him of cooperation to the authorities to restore peace in their area. —Correspondent
