ISLAMABAD: Federal government on Monday appointed Chaudhry Manzoor as new acting chief of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), DawnNews reported.

Sources said that the appointment was made on the request of the interior ministry.

He will represent the FIA in the Supreme Court on July 13, sources added.
