NOWSHERA, July 8: A man, whose son has been missing for the last one year, has appealed to the Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry to take suo motu notice of the disappearance of his son.
Addressing a press conference in Nowshera press club on Friday, Sir Zamin Khan said that his son Arif was missing for the last one year.
He accused the Nowshera police of not registered FIR of the case even after lapse of one year.
Sir Zamin said that he had written many letters to the chief justice of Pakistan and other high ups but none of them had responded to his woes so far.
JI MEETINGS: Jamaat-i-Islami held two public meetings as part of its mass contact drive in Nowshera on Friday.
“Only an Islamic revolution can rid the country of the American clutches”, said JI district amir Merajuddin advocate while speaking at a meeting in Rashakae.
He said the government had completely failed to solve the problems facing the people.
He said it was difficult for the downtrodden to keep body and soul together due to sky rocketing prices of daily use items.
He criticised the statement of provincial Senior Minister Bashir Ahmad Bilour in which he had said that time of “Allah-o-Akbar” had gone.
The other meeting was organised at Taherkhel Payan village.
On this occasion, a number of people, including Haji Tahir, Fawad Khan, Yar Mohammad, Nader Khan and Mohammad Ali Kaka along their families and friends announ-ced joining the Jamaat-i-Islami.
