ISLAMABAD: Chief Secretary Balochistan Ahmed Baksh Lehri said Thursday that the federal government had been contacted to issue a red warrant against former military ruler Pervez Musharraf for ordering the killing of Baloch nationalist leader Nawab Akbar Bugti.

Moreover, Lehri said instructions had been given for action against officers responsible for the Kharotabad incident based on the judicial tribunal’s report.

In response to the decision made by the Balochistan government, All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) leader Ahmed Raza Kasuri said that Nawab Akbar Bugti was killed because he rebelled against the state.
