ATTOCK, July 6: A sub inspector of police was arrested for releasing two persons allegedly involved in a kidnapping case soon after their arrest.
The Saddar police station registered a criminal case against Sub Inspector (SI) Kausar Shah for not registering a kidnapping case against two persons who had abducted a young girl in Badri village on July 2, it has been learnt. After registration of case, the police arrested him.
Meanwhile, the police also arrested Ameer Afzal for killing his abducted daughter and an accused Naseer Ahmed involved in the kidnapping of the girl.—Correspondent
