SUKKUR: Two men and two women were killed in karo-kari incidents in the Doda Pur police station area of Jacobabad on Thursday.

In the first incident, one Hooran Katohar killed his wife Nawab Khatoon, 20, and Aslam Katohar in Mahwa Malghani village on suspicions of their involvement in illicit relationship.

Police took the bodies to Jacobabad hospital for post mortem and later handed them over to relatives.

Brothers of the woman and the man have registered a case against Hooran Katohar at Doda Pur police station.

In the other incident, one Mushtaque Brohi killed his sister, Nasreen, 18, and a man Zulfiqar in Abdul Hameed Brohi village on Thursday.

Larkana police have recovered a baby who had been kidnapped from Shaikh Zaid hospital three days after birth. Police found the baby in a house in Bago Dero village in Qamber-Shahdadkot district and arrested a woman accused.

According to police sources, Larkana police acted on information that the baby had been taken to Bago Dero village and conducted a raid on Wednesday-Thursday midnight.

Ms Hakim Zadi was arrested while her husband Allah Bux Mugheri escaped.
