Saleh to coach in Bahrain

Published October 29, 2002

CAIRO, Oct 28: Saleh Muhammad has been offered a coaching assignment to train and coach Bahrain players.

Former world number three Saleh had a brief coaching stint in Saudi Arabia where he coached local players for about three month in Riydh last year.

Saleh said that he will be flying to Manama after Eid-ul-Fitr and spent six months in coaching Bahrain players.

He however said he will be given special leave during Pakistan’s national championship and other national ranking events back home.

Saleh said he had accepted the coaching assignment because he was yet to get a job despite bringing laurels and glory to the country in the past ten years.—APP
