Grant for heirs of Shahid

KARACHI, Oct 28: Sindh Governor Mohammedmian Soomro on Monday approved a grant of Rs300,000 for the heirs of the late Shahid Soomro, reporter of a Sindhi daily, Kawish. Shahid Soomro was murdered on Oct 21 in Kandkot.

DCO Jacobabad Ghulam Ali Pasha met with the Sindh Governor and apprised him about the progress of investigation of the journalist’s murder case.

The governor has directed the DCO that the investigation should be completed in a transparent manner.—APP
