At last the straight-shooting, fearless Veena Malik seems to have achieved what she’d been aiming for in recent times. Her tour(s) to India have now borne fruit. News is that Veena M is appearing in a Bollywood flick as the main lead.

The film is tentatively titled Daal Mein Kuchh Kala Hai and will be directed by Anand Balraj who is known for his not-so-significant roles in big-budget films, and DMKKH will be his directorial debut. Noteworthy is the fact that vivacious Veena is playing not just one but two roles in the film. You never know if that will prove to be doubly delightful or doubly dangerous for the director. And no, Ashmit Patel is not in the film. It’s said, though, Ashmit P advocated Veena M’s case to Anand B in a pretty convincing manner.
