THE Manora island near Karachi has a beautiful beach but it is devoid of facilities such as proper illumination, benches, tuck shops, swimming gear, etc.
If good facilities are provided to visitors, the island could be a nice place to visit for pleasure trips, while the locals and the government can also earn revenue. The authorities should take measures to develop Manora to facilitate locals and visitors.
