RAWALPINDI, Oct 26: Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) has extended deadline for encroachments removal till October 30.

The decision was taken by the Tehsil Nazim, Raja Hamid Nawaz, while presiding over a meeting here on Saturday.

He asked traders and shopkeepers to voluntarily remove encroachments by October 30 and make success the TMA drive to make the city neat and clean.

He said beautification of the city would facilitate the citizens themselves, therefore, they should cooperate with the TMA in this regard.—PPI

Our Staff Reporter adds: Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) is in contact with the district government for provision of development funds for the Tehsil.

This was stated by the Tehsil Nazim, Hamid Nawaz Raja, while talking to different groups of people belonging to various areas of the Tehsil on Saturday.

The Tehsil Nazim said that development works would continue in the Tehsil areas irrespective of the political changes and in total disregard of which ever government was in the centre.

The resources available with the Tehsil are far less than the gigantic task of development works but every effort will be made to allocate funds for each and every locality, he added.
