QUETTA: Two of the five foreigners killed in the Kharotabad firing incident last month were buried in a graveyard near Quetta on Sunday.

The bodies had been identified as those of Noman and his wife Oliga.

The former Amir of the Balochistan chapter of Jamaat-i-Islami, Maulana Abdul Haq Hashimi, led funeral prayers attended by a large number of people.

Noman was a Tajik national who married a Russian lady. The woman was seven months pregnant when she was killed in the May 17 incident.

Noman’s parents, who arrived here on Saturday and identified the bodies, had allowed the local administration to bury their son and daughter-in-law in the local graveyard.

The remaining bodies, kept in the morgue of the Bolan Medical College Hospital, have not been identified so far.
