PESHAWAR, Oct 25: The Islami Jamiat Tulaba has blamed the administration of Peshawar University for favouritism in preparing the merit list of several departments.

In a press release issued here on Friday, the campus Nazim Abidur Rehman said that the administration had announced the displaying of the merit list, which was delayed allegedly to include the names of their favourites.

Blaming the administration for favouritism, he said that several candidates with low marks were given admission, and many others who had graduated in first division, could not find their names included in the merit list.

Abidur Rehman asked the Peshawar University administration to correct the list, otherwise, they would launch a protest campaign.
